Meet Alex.
Alex Sauickie is a lifelong resident of Jackson Township. Prior to joining the New Jersey General Assembly, he served on Jackson’s Township Council, holding the positions of Council President and Vice President.
During his time as Councilman, Alex championed numerous initiatives, including strong soil requirements, the reduction of town fees for volunteer first responders, and a general election ballot question to increase the open space land preservation fund—a question that passed overwhelmingly by the residents.
Alex has spent most of his private sector career as a start-up executive. He has a history of building successful financial technology companies. Today, Alex is the CEO of AdvicePay, the leading platform for processing payments and overseeing compliance of fee-for-service transactions. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for The Kimball Medical Center Foundation (now Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus), where in 2010 he was recognized for his humanitarian work.
Assemblyman Sauickie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) and is an avid marathoner and IRONMAN triathlete. He is the father of five, and lives with his wife, Margaret, in Jackson Township.
